Treating Psoriasis With Citrus Oils

February 19th, 2008

Citrus oils have been used for many purposes throughout history. In regards to treating psoriasis,
they have several purposes. Both orange and lemon oils have antiseptic
properties. This ensures that the psoriasis lesions are kept clean and
uninfected. That is very important in the healing process. They also
are very good at deeply penetrating the skin’s many layers. As
previously mentioned, moisturization is vital in controlling psoriasis
outbreak. It also helps the skin feel better faster. The acids in the
oils work to loosen the silvery patches of dead skin for faster healing
and a more attractive appearance.
