The stressful steps of periodontal surgery
Gum pockets are formed
during acute stage of gum infection. It is formed between gumline and most
dental professional will recommend a periodontal surgery for this oral
condition. The purpose of periodontal surgery is to return back the gums into
the normal form. If the gum pockets are deep then cleaning would be very
difficult and this allows bacteria to have a room for them to stay and create a
worst damage.
Periodontal surgery is
done with this procedure and administered by your dentist. Gums are first
incised with local anesthesia then the area is carefully cleaned eliminating
plaque and tartar. When bone is examined it is properly re-contoured due to the
result of bone loss caused by periodontal
disease. Infected tissues were also removed and damaged bones were
smoothens. After the procedure gum tissues are sewn back to normal place and
reattach to the bone.
