Take A Serious Deal With Periodontal Disease

July 25th, 2007

Periodontal disease
or commonly known as gum disease refers to the infection of the tissues
that holds the teeth in place. The typical cause of periodontal disease
is poor brushing and flossing, an unhealthy habit that allows the
plaque that has bacteria to build up and harden on the teeth. The
obvious signs of periodontal disease shows up in the advanced stages
like swollen, bleeding gums and loss of tooth.

To prevent periodontal disease, all it takes is to have a good oral
hygiene, regular dental check up, quitting tobacco use and having
healthy diet and drinking plenty of water.

The main cause of periodontal disease is the bacteria in the plaque
that can form and harden into tartar. It is best to keep bad bacteria
away by using an all natural oral care product like OraMD, it contains
essential oils that effectively kills bacteria in the mouth, making the
mouth healthy and free from serious oral diseases.
