Preparing snack food is as important as meal. This is why your choice of
what to eat should be healthy for the benefit of the entire body system. The
same as taking care of your teeth, snacks should not be loaded with sugar and
every thing should be healthy. Sweets
are the number one enemy of teeth
, when stayed longer in your mouth it is
prone to damage more teeth. So preparing even just snacks should also be
healthy. Think of what you can get from it. Sugar forms a damaging acid in your
mouth and it affects largely the condition of teeth because sweet and sugary
snacks often feed bacteria that forms from the residues on the teeth causing

of gum and it can result to serious illness, In an early stage this disease is
painless and should be treated as soon as possible.

is identified as chronic, insidious, and episodic in nature. Treatment options should
start at home following healthy eating and proper brushing and flossing, The treatment can
be surgical and non-surgical. It is very important that we remember the
treatment options will depend on the nature of work.

to take care of their teeth and gums early
will bring this habit as they
grow attaining good dental health and oral hygiene. Begin to clean the teeth as
soon as the first tooth erupts with soft baby’s toothbrush for about twice a
day. As soon as all baby teeth are visible regular brushing of teeth would be
twice daily and floss at least once a day. A regular schedule to visit family
dentist should be followed. Selecting toothpaste is also necessary for
children, limiting the amount to use because kids tend to swallow most of the
toothpaste. To maintain healthy teeth children should avoid eating sweets and
sticky foods. Diet really does a very big role in the taking care of teeth.

Parents should be the one to guide children in constant cleaning of teeth.
Teaching them to floss regularly will prevent inflammation of gums. Toddlers
kids are to young too do this so it is best that you do the flossing for them.

be aware of the plaque forming substances which allow bacterial growth inside
the mouth. Some child habits like thumb sucking (which must be avoided) may
displace teeth will also make harder to remove plaque as well as crooked teeth.
