People who have naturally healthy skin can also be seen
pretty healthy overall. Their secret is simply having healthy body and
healthy skin - for this can go hand-in-hand, and a natural skin care treatment
routine can ensure your health from the inside to the outside. To have a
healthy skin and a healthy body, all you got to do is to follow these: no
cigarettes, coffee or tea, alcohol, sodas, chips, candy bars, and junk food.
Make sure that diet can contain fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and fish,
nuts and seeds, fresh dairy, all organic, without preservatives, chemicals and
other toxins.

Regenerating the cells of the visible part of your skin.

February 1st, 2008

Being the body’s largest organ and is prone toaging just
like the rest of systems is the skin. If you recall from science class, there
are three layers to the skin. The deepest layer is known as the hypodermis.
This layer is primarily made up of fat. Don’t worry it’s the good kind. It
helps keep the skin looking plump and attractive. Right above it dwells the
dermis. This one is where we keep our collagen and other fibers. The skin’s
elasticity and strength come from this layer. We are all familiar with the top
layer called the epidermis. This layer is important, as it is responsible for
regenerating the cells of the visible part of your skin. Obviously it needs to
be kept healthy to ensure its appearance and softness.

Decubitus ulcer

February 1st, 2008

Bed sores are very ordinary nonetheless found to
be a very serious problem in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and
hospitals. Take loved one who is experiencing bed sore and immediately
take them to the wound care specialist. We see families all the time, that
assume they are healing and by the time they learn otherwise, it’s too late. Decubitus
ulcer, it sounds like a fancy terms for the things that are alike - a wounded
created because of excessive pressure on the skin, which also cause the skin to
breakdown. The occurrences of these wounds are frequently in care
settings that are long term. Currently, by stating they occur frequently, I am
not implying that pressure ulcers are not preventable, or treatable. I am
conveying that simple, but true fact, that wounds are suffered by thousands of
our long term care residents.
