Myths about Skin Care

many but wrongly believed. Preservatives is not good always to put in the foods
therefore it is also believed that it is harmful in the skin as it is one of
the main ingredient to preserve skin care products most especially if it is
naturally made. Preservatives are very important because it prevents bacteria
and fungi in most skin care products. One common type of preservative is known
as the parabens. But this ingredient was found out in the 2002 study that it is
present in breast cancer tissue and known that it might be the cause of breast
cancer. Patient with eczema or allergies have reactions on parabens. For this
reason people avoid products with this kind of preservatives but for beauty
products containing parabens are said to be safe.
