Anaerobic Bacteria Is The Cause Of Bad Breath

December 8th, 2007

Anaerobic bacteria do not actually produce the odors that we associate
with bad breath. These microorganisms, like any living creature, must
feed and defecate. It is the waste products of bacteria, known as
Volatile Sulfur Compounds, that produce the odors we commonly associate
with a bad breath problem.
Bacteria feed upon the very same foods that we tend to like-and studies
prove that they actually breed faster when feeding upon substances
like: sugars, complex carbohydrates, meat, fish, eggs and seafood

Limit Food Supply In The Mouth To Prevent Bad Breath

December 8th, 2007

Brush after each meal-the bacteria feed upon the leftover food
particles from meals we consume. Preventing bad breath can be as simple
as limiting the food supply which lowers the population and reduces the
production of sulfur compounds-thus, brush after each and every meal
and effectively starve your bad breath problem away!

Ease Bad Breath Problem With Proper Treatment

December 6th, 2007

Bad breath is not something that can just be disregarded. Even though a bad breath problem
is a common occurrence, it is important to seek proper treatment, since
it can also indicate a much bigger health problem. Bad bacteria present
in the mouth accounts to 80% of the bad breath causes, but seeking
medical help is the best way to have effective bad breath treatment.
Chronic bad breath can be caused by a disease or illness that oral
hygiene can’t fix, that is why proper dental guidance is the best
option for treatment. Chronic bad breath problems should never be taken
lightly as they are never caused simply by “spicy foods” or things. So,
while you may want to believe that a bad breath problem is a relatively
minor concern, it may well be a warning sign of a much larger issue
which is why you should consult with a dentist if the situation does
not go away with normal oral hygiene.
