Oral Conditions Causing Bad Breath

February 16th, 2008

Every one knows the scenario of how disgusting it is to have bad breath
and how speechless you can be when talking to someone who has bad
breath while you don’t want to offend him. But it is important that
people knew they had bad breath so they could do something about it.
Bad breath is often caused by plaque, food particles and bacteria that
stuck to teeth and become smelly. When the bacteria stick there they
leak out toxins. That is how you nay get bad breath. Brushing twice a
day and flossing once a day remove bacteria from teeth. It is
recommended that everyone should have their teeth cleaned by a dentist
every six months to avoid build-up. If teeth aren’t cleaned properly
the build-up could lead to gum disease or decay. While sometimes there
are medical conditions that may cause bad breath, doctors say that most
of the time all that was needed was improved dental hygiene. Medical
doctors and dentists consistently call the public for regular brushing
and flossing of teeth to avoid bad breath.
