Understand The Risks Invovled In Advanced Gum Disease

February 20th, 2008

Gingivitis is an inflammatory process of the gums in which the junction
between the tooth and gum is altered but remains attached to the tooth.
Advanced gum disease
is common because the signs of gum disease can be easily missed, and
most affected people don’t even know they have advanced gum disease.
However, most cases of advanced gum disease can be prevented with
proper oral hygiene. There is a special need for good oral hygiene to
prevent advanced gum disease. Rinsing the mouth with a warm saltwater
solution can be effective.
