Swollen gum is a symptom of gum disease

August 26th, 2008

A silent oral
disease is called periodontal
disease
. For the symptoms of gum disease it should not be ignored. It is
already a warning to your oral health condition when you see your gums bleed
during brushing. One of the common gum
disease
symptoms that first come out is swollen of gums. It is obvious
because of redness of gums. When this disease develops into more acute
condition the person can notice bad breath, bad taste and sensitive teeth. One
way to prevent swollen gums is avoiding alcohol intake, which can dry out mouth.
Swollen gums can eventually loosen teeth because of the damage it can create in
gums and teeth.
