Smoking is one major contributor of periodontal disease

Myriad smokers around the world blamed tobacco products and other cigarettes
where the source of periodontal disease. According to medical studies those who
smoke have four times chance to acquire periodontal
disease
than those who never smoke. The negative side effects of tobacco to
the health of many people is already been documented. In the treatment process
healing stage can be interfered by smoking. Smokers may not respond properly to
treatments. Actually the real effect of smoking is that it reduces the
production of oxygen and nutrients within our mouth. Thus, to quit smoking and
stop using tobacco is the excellent way to avoid the health risks of periodontal
disease
