Small Areas Of The Skin Are Affected By Symptoms Of Psoriasis

January 11th, 2008

The symptoms of psoriasis
start out as a small affected area with a red rash. It progresses to
cover more of the skin’s surface. From there, a white covering often
forms on the rash. This silvery scaly substance is layers and layers of
dead skin cells. In one form of psoriasis, pustular psoriasis, white
blisters form surrounded by red, irritated skin. With dermatitis
sebborhea, or dandruff, the psoriasis affects the scalp and causes the
flakes of skin to fall off onto clothes, making the situation obvious
to anyone who sees it.
