Receding Gums And Its Causes Can Be Reversible

July 7th, 2008

Aside from gum disease, most people point out dental trauma and how the
way your teeth fit together when you bite down as the primary reasons
for receding gums. Excessive grinding and clenching teeth can also make
your gum recede. Although these are true, it is also necessary to
understand the other causes of receding gums to get the best receding gum treatment.
Poor oral hygiene give way to plaque build-up. These plaque
accumulations give off toxins that can irritate the gums and give way
to their destruction. Gum recession can be unpleasant, especially since
it exposes the roots of the teeth and thus develop teeth sensitivity.
For a receding gums condition, it is best to seek help from a dental
expert to ensure the best treatment and to properly address the problem.
