Prevent Gum Disease And Stop More Health Risks

May 10th, 2008

Recent studies indicate that bacteria caused by gum disease may pass
through the bloodstream to other parts of the body, possibly causing
the formation of artery-clogging plaques, which may lead to heart
disease. Prevent gum disease
by taking a proactive approach. Although factors such as genetics,
smoking, poor oral hygiene, diet, and family history can all contribute
to gum disease, you can prevent gum disease by taking care of dental
problems early. Visit your dentist every six months and brush your
teeth at least twice a day with a bacteria fighting toothpaste to
prevent gum disease.
