Prevent Bad Breath With The Right Toothpaste

August 5th, 2008

Proper oral hygiene may indeed be one of the best cures and preventive measures against bad breath,
but what you may not be aware of is that using the wrong toothpastes
may worsen bad breath problems and also complicate dental health. To
prevent bad breath effectively, using all natural toothpastes and
dental products is the best way to secure teeth and gum wellness.
Commercial bad breath toothpastes contain harsh ingredients such as
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) that can dry the mouth. Dry mouth
(xerostomia) is also a cause of bad breath. Fluoride has been widely
known to help in maintaining strong teeth, but they can be harmful
because they tend to irritate and damage sensitive tissues and are not
effective in fighting tooth decay. No doubt, understanding more about
what can truly help you battle bad breath is important for effective
and healthy results.
