Periodontal Disease: Herpetic Gingivostomatitis

There
are several factoors that play a role in the dvelopment of
periodontal disease. But the most common factor that contribute to
such diseas is the oral hygiene habit. Without proper care of oral
health the risk to periodontal diseases more likely to increase.

Periodontal
disease also known as gum problems are group of diseases that affects
not only the gums but the tissues that give support to the teeth. If
untreated periodontal disease may result into a more serious dental
problem such as destruction of gums and bones and the outer layer of
the tooth root.

One
of the disease under periodontal disease is called Herpetic
gingivostomatitis
this is
identified by infected gums that are red in color and has a whitish
lesions and it iis not caused by bacteria but a virus thus it is
infectious to to other people who has a contact herpes lesions or
saliva that contains virus from the lesion.

As
to prevent periodontal disease good oral health hygiene must be
observed. Consider alsousing oral health care products that may aid
in preventing periodontal diseases,
natural products eill be the best options for they do not contain
harsh ingredients that may cause irritation and damage to gums and
teeth.
