July 7th, 2008

Common symptoms that patients should give importance are bad breath,
soreness or swelling, bleeding gums and loosening of tooth. We should not take
for granted the advices and warnings told by dental professionals especially
our personal dentist. They are helping patient in the prevention of periodontal
disease
problems. If among the symptoms occur we should not ignore it
because this may become severe affecting not only the oral parts but as well as
the body system. When the plaque stays in the mouth and hardens it is called
Tartar. Tartar can hold bacteria which can be the source of gum disease and
infection. With the bacteria it can cause gum irritation and persistent bad
breath. All this reflects to personal hygiene because this can be prevented
