Neurontin Drug For Hot Flashes Brings Adverse Effects To Health

December 8th, 2007

Neurontin is traditionally used with other medications to treat partial
seizures. It is also used to relieve the burning nerve pain that
sometimes continues for months or even years after an attack of
shingles. Like Effexor, it is another drug potentially useful for
curing the symptoms of hot flashes, and it also has some devastating
side effects. These side effects include swelling in the hands and
feet, dizziness, diarrhea, and, ironically, seizures. It is even
recommended that patients who are taking this drug abstain from
driving. Be aware of the health threats of drugs for hot flash relief.
