Smoking is already known to be bad to the health. now, recent studies have proven the smoking and periodontal disease
link. aside from lung damages, smoking can ha a huge contribution for
having gum infections and periodontal disease. Aside from having lung
problems, smoking can expose you to many other risks and problems. Smoking and gum disease
is a bad combination, since smoking has direct effect on health, it can
also slow down the healing process of gum disease treatments. Any
factors that can lead to an unhealthy life should be avoided. Smoking,
however enjoyable, is one high risks for your health that should be
considered thoroughly. For smokers, gum disease can only be prevented
through proper oral hygiene and dental health care.
