Lack Of Estrogen Hampers Normal Regulation Of Body Temperature

December 6th, 2007

Estrogen does more than just control ovulation and your cycle. It also
controls things like your appetite, distribution of fat on your hips
and thighs, and your body’s thermostat. When you have plenty of
estrogen, your temperature is regulated. When you have too little
estrogen, the part of your brain that controls your temperature gets
confused. As a result it sends your temperature up sometimes as much as
six degrees Celsius. Your body immediately responds to this temperature
increase with a rapid heartbeat, racing pulse, and excessive sweating.
When you sweat and your temperature rapidly falls it brings on chills.
All of this work causes you to experience great fatigue. The next thing
you should do is to find immediate cure for hot flashes fatigue.
