Chronic pain
persists for a longer time. A normal feeling that gives a message to alert
you for possible injury is called acute pain. Chronic pain and acute pain has
different effect on the body. Chronic pain may cause other symptoms or
conditions like depression and anxiety. It can represent disease itself. Common
complaints about chronic pain are headache, low back pain, cancer pain,
arthritis, and other visible sign of damage in the nervous system.
In the treatment of chronic pain, it involves medicines and therapy
depending on the need of individual. Treatment may include anti-inflammatory
medications to reduce swelling as well as exercise which can also strengthen
muscle. If the treatment doesn’t have improvement regarding pain relief, then
