How we acquire Gum Disease?

June 30th, 2008

Commonly gum disease is acquired because of improper oral hygiene routines.
Sometimes we fail to practice the correct ways and methods of maintaining the
healthiness of our teeth. Another failure also is the use of proper tools in
which it can gently clean the teeth. Dental floss may also contribute to the
receding gum disease because the method can shred and cut into the gums. We are relying mostly
on the toothpaste but gum disease may be acquired because we trust the product
to much. Some other mouthwashes is not safe to use. These products are mostly
alcohol based which dry out the oral cavity and leads to the growth of more
bacteria. In addition, gum disease occurs because of failure to seek the advice
of periodontal disease.
