Has Gingivitis Signs Come Across Your Mind?

April 5th, 2008

Gum disease is a serious threat to gum and dental health of every person. People should be able to learn that gingivitis
refers to the inflammation, swelling and the bleeding of gum tissues.
Which actually appears to be the early stage of gum disease which is
reversible and can be prevented with gum disease remedies and cures.
But have it come across your mind to ask yourself why your gums bleed
every time you brush your teeth? Well, it is actually the first sign of
gingivitis attack. Obviously, bacteria that coats your teeth is the
foremost cause of gingivitis. When the person lacks good oral hygiene,
the tendency is that bacteria forms into a sticky white substance
called as plaque. If the plaque is not removed, bacteria proliferates
quickly and tries to produce toxins that can cause gum irritation and
keeps the gum red, swollen and inflamed. When the condition is failed
to be treated, bacteria will destroy the tissues connecting the gums to
the tooth, and eventually the tooth to the bones, causing a deep pocket
and eventually attacks the bony structure. It will then progress into
what we call periodontitis which is an irreversible form of gum disease.
