Halitosis Triggered By Dry Mouth

One
of the factors that triggers halitosis or bad breath is dry
mouth
. Stress and nervousness triggers dry mouth. Medication or
illness could be also a reason in having the condition. If left
untreated dry mouth may lead into halitosis and worst is a gum
disease.

A
sticky dry feeling in the mouth is the indication of dry mouth and a
burning and dry feeling in the mouth and tongue added. Mouth sores,
cracked lips and rough tongue may also occur.

The
saliva is every essential in our daily dental health it does not only
make the mouth the mouth wet but also protects it from bacteria and
tooth decay. Chewing and swallowing would not be possible without
saliva. There are several reasons why dry mouth occur it could be a
side effect of some medications, poor oral health hygiene or even
illness.

Drinking
a lot of water can prevent you in having a dry mouth and and
observing oral health can improve your dental heath.
