Guard Yourself Against Possible Canker Sores

June 18th, 2008

If you want to talk about painful sores, canker
sores are some of the most painful and irritating there are. To make
matters worse, the cause of these sores isn’t known so finding a cure
or treatment for them is rather difficult. To be perfectly clear,
canker sores are not directly caused by bacterial infections. Any type
of mouth trauma has been connected to the appearance of canker sores.
Canker sores are also sometimes connected to food allergies. Foods that
are rich in acid like the citrus fruits and pineapple could be culprits
in canker sores. Some people who have a problem with ingesting gluten
may have a problem as well. Some research suggests the canker sores run
in families. As with all types of sores, canker sores are an
aggravating nuisance that should be avoided at all costs. Continuing to
treat the pain and avoid getting them in the first place is still a
good plan.
