Good Oral Hygiene Alone Is Not Enough To Achieve Healthy Gums And Teeth

April 18th, 2008

Brushing
and flossing daily is not enough in having healthy
gums and teeth
and in preventing gum diseases. Having a helathy
and nutritious diet will protect your teeth from tooth decay and keep
the gums healthy. However, your options for a healthy diet may also
be limited, ,milk, fruits, bread, cereals and some vegetables
contains sugar and or starches and like corbonated sodas, sugary
snacks and drinks intake should be limited.

Gum
Disease and tooth decay are caused by bacteria and they cover the
teeth with plaque. If plaque is not removed the bacteria will
breakdown the starches and sugar into acids that will damage the
tooth enamel. And if plaque still stays inside the mouth it will
develop into gum inflammation or gingivitis.

Porper
oral hygiene combined with well- balanced and nutritious diet is
essential in achieving a healthy gums and teeth and preventing gum
diseases. Using oral health products can also aid inpreventing
bacteria build up but be sure to have the ones that are safe and
effective, go natural have the ones that contain only natusl
ingredients they are safe for they do not contain harsh ingredients
that may irritate the gums and tooth.
