Get Healthy Smile Bonus From Gum Disease Cures

June 18th, 2008

At any age of any individual, a healthy smile is a huge bonus for a
good life. Older people who are wearing false teeth or dentures feel
that they no longer need regular dental check ups and gum disease cures.
It is not too late to start learning the basics of oral health care. It
is always helpful to take time to review the basics of dental care even
if you know it already. And speaking of tooth decay, it is not just a
children’s disease, it can also happen to adults and as long as natural
teeth are in the mouth. Tooth decay is caused by bacteria that normally
live in the mouth. And bacteria stays on teeth and tries to form a
dental plaque which is a sticky, colorless film. Oral bacteria in
plaque feed on sugars and produces decay causing acid and that is
dissolving minerals on the surfaces of teeth. Eventually, tooth decay
can develop on the exposed roots of teeth if you have receding gums or
gum disease.
