Effects Of Early Prevention Of Gingivitis

Gingivitis
is the earliest and mildest form of gum disease and it is usually
identified by red, swelling and bleeding gums. At its earliest stage
gingivitis may be relatively painless and can be relieve with home
remedies such as salt water rinses, ice and using a baking soda
toothpaste. Over the counter topical anesthetic ointment are also
available.

Untreated
gingivitis will lead to periodontitis which is the severe stage of
periodontal disease. Preveting gum disease is least painful and
expense for than having it progress to periodontitis which may
require surgery treatments. Surgery treatments are expensive
especially if it will require multiple visits and perhaps pain will
be more likely be suffered for weeks or even longer.

The
most important thing to remember and to be practice is proper oral
health hygiene. Brushing and flossing regularly will prevent bacteria
to grow in the mouth and using natural oral health care product is
also beneficial. Visits to the dentist is also necessary in the
prevention process, early signs and symptoms of gum diseases may be
detected and prevented.
