Effective prevention of gingivitis

September 3rd, 2008

Gingivitis is mainly cause by poor oral hygiene. Although
there are things that can increase the risk of developing gingivitis such as
gum injury, pregnancy, diabetes, poor nutrition, and especially smoking.
Gingivitis is best treated in its early stage to avoid it from worsening. In
order for you to stop gingivitis in its early stage you must first know some of
its early symptoms such as swelling gums, easy bleeding gums, and tender to
touch gums are just few of its early symptoms. Gingivitis can occur at anyone
regardless of the age, although there are others that are more hereditarily
susceptible than others. But maintaining a healthy oral hygiene is very
effective in preventing gingivitis
from occurring.
