Periodontal disease
is able to affect one tooth or more. It
is an infection in the tissues that support the teeth. As the disease develops the progress is painless.
What causes periodontal disease is the bacteria that develops around the teeth
hours after brushing of teeth. This disease starts from a simple inflammation
of gum and it can result to serious illness, In an early stage this disease is
painless and should be treated as soon as possible.


For the treatment periodontitis
is identified as chronic, insidious, and episodic in nature. Treatment options should
start at home following healthy eating and proper brushing and flossing, The treatment can
be surgical and non-surgical. It is very important that we remember the
treatment options will depend on the nature of work.
