Common cause of gingivitis

July 24th, 2008

Gingivitis is commonly cause by a poor oral hygiene where
plaque builds up in the gum line and causes inflammation of the gums. Almost
all of us will experience gingivitis in one time in out life. Although there
are certain people who are genetically more vulnerable than others, especially
those people who smokes and drinks alcohol. Gingivitis can easily be prevented by just having a good regular
oral hygiene, eating a healthy diet, not smoking, and a regular visit to a
dentist. But in severe cases of gingivitis, treatment involves professional
teeth cleaning by a dentist to reduce the inflammation of the gums.
