Bad Gum Condition Can Be Avoided By Gum Disease Treatment
Bad gum condition can be prevented by good daily oral care habits. Gums
that are receding can be best prevented by brushing with a soft
toothbrush, and using a pressure that is mild to moderate and in a very
short back and forth motions. Toothbrush with hard bristles should be
avoided. To protect from further recession when gums have already
receded, it is sometimes possible to graft tissue to cover a portion of
the exposed root surface and so as to reinforce the fragile receding
gum tissue. Tooth sensitivity is common in receding gums. Have your
teeth and gums checked by your dentist, they can recommend some gum disease treatment products to be used at home.
