Bad Breath In Your Child And The Food That Might Cause Them

March 23rd, 2008

Kids
got a perfect set of new teeth, but aren’t you wondering that some
kids do have halitosis even that they are not suffering from tooth
decay or cavities? Cavities are certainly a factor that triggers bad
breath but there are also other possibilities to consider why your
child has bad breath.

One
factor that your child that has bad breath is bad oral hygiene
practice. Make your child b rush their teeth regularly as bacteria
won’t grow in their mouth that will cause bad breath or halitosis.

The
food that you give your child might be also the reason why they be
having bad breath. Yes,
certainly foods that are rich in protein, complex carbohydrates and
sugar are preferred by bacteria and the growth of bacteria increases.
Reduce the amount of these foods in your child’s diet and supplement
it with raw vegetables. Even though bacteria will still grow and feed
on food particles, at least it will be at a lower rate and lessens
the the risk of bad breath in your kids.
