Bad Breath Gets Worse When You Take Breath Freshners

Commonly
when people smell unpleasant odor from their mouth they take breath
fresheners to get rid of it. But taking breath fresheners to get rid
of bad breath is a mistake, it even worsen it. Their effects are just
temporary. Breath fresheners, mints and candies contain sugar.

Sugar
attracts bacterial plaque and bad breath occur especially after
eating and it is caused by these bacteria. The food consumed are
absorbed by the blood streams and transferred to the lungs and
exhaled.

With
proper and good dental hygiene habit such as brushing and flossing
regularly will prevent bacterial plaque build up. Avoiding foods that
causes bad breath such as
onions, garlic and spicy foods will lessen the the occurrence of bad
breath. Drinking lots of water will keep you away from dry mouth, dry
mouth causes bad breath for bacteria are better to live in dry areas.
Avoiding smoking and alcohol is another preventive way to bad breath.
See your dentist regularly for dental check ups and professional
cleaning it will also help in early detection of symptoms of certain
gum diseases. Using oral health care products especially the ones
that are made from natural ingredients will aid into preventing gum
diseases such as bad breath. And do not take sugar- based breath
freshers, mints and candies.
