Bad breath: a common dental health problem

August 5th, 2008

Bad breath is the most simple dental health problem but also
the most embarrassing problem. Most of us could suffer from bad breath or also
known as halitosis at some point in our lives. Halitosis is commonly cause by a proteins that has been breakdown
in the mouth. Bad breath is a non contagious dental problem; this means that
you cannot get it from someone else. Also, bad breath does not come from the
stomach which other people believe. The only bad breath that comes from the
stomach is when we burp, other than that, bad breath happens because there is
something wrong with your dental health or you have medical condition that can
contribute to bad breath such as liver problem. A mild case of halitosis can be
treated with a proper oral hygiene.
