Bacterial Plaque As The Major Culprit With Common Tooth And Gum Disease

May 23rd, 2008

Bacterial
plaque is major cause of tooth and gum disease. Tooth and gum disease
is an inflammation in the gums affecting the bones and the tissues
that supports the teeth. The presence of plaque allows the infection
to spread in the gums and teeth and eventually the tissues and bones
supporting the teeth. If tooth and gum disease progresses it can
result to tooth loose and have to be removed.

Tooth
and gum disease
can lead into more serious dental condition
called periodontitis if left untreated and it can even trigger
certain serious medical conditions and worse is tooth loss. Tooth and
gum disease are often neglected at its early stage until pain and
discomfort are being experienced.

To
effectively prevent tooth and gum disease, superior oral hygiene is
the answer. Brushing and flossing can prevent the development of
bacterial plaque and using an all-natural oral health care products
is another effective way too
.
