A Theory on the Relationship between Heart Disease and Periodontal Disease

Scientists believe
that the bacteria responsible for periodontal disease can enter the bloodstream
and connect themselves to the fatty plaques accountable for clotting arteries.
This route causes the arteries to clot even more rapidly. However, this is only
a theory as to the link between heart disease and periodontal disease.
