One thing that isn’t common knowledge about these conditions is that dandruff is associated with psoriasis and eczema.
The only real difference is that it is called dandruff when it attacks
the scalp. With this type of psoriasis, it is usually treated with a
mediated shampoo. The scalp isn’t the only location on the head where
it appears. It may be noticed in the hairline or even on the cheeks.
There have been cases documented in which the patient developed eczema
on the lips. Regardless, these conditions are more obvious when they
appear on the face and head.
